Moved to (mt) Media Temple

Moved to (mt) Media Temple on a (dv) VPS and upgraded to WordPress 2.2.

Why to move again? Simply because (mt) is the best webhost provider on the planet. And very coincidently, my site became unaccessible in China a few hours after I made the order. It’s been confirmed that my SurpassHosting IP address is blocked by those bloody devils for unknown reasons.

I didn’t want to say “SurpassHosting sucks!”, though the ftp connections were slow for me, and unstable, database sometimes went down, no ssh access. I requested SurpassHosting to transfer me onto an accessible server so that I can get my necessary data back, but they refused to help. Instead, they “kindly” offered 2 options: Purchase a Dedicated IP or Upgrade from shared hosting to a VPS/Dedicated Server. Suck? Okay thanks for the incredible solutions, I’m now on a VPS with a dedicated IP, but from another company which absolutely surpasses you SurpassHosting. lol
